This project started with phase 1 of a national influencer campaign we put together at the projects*(liveintheprojects.com). The idea was to show people how to make the perfect martini. We recruited program managers who then recruited their own hosts to invite guests of their own to private martini making sessions at well-known venues across the major cities inside the US.My role was to create a robust invitation system to expand the program, gather guest's information, and send follow ups and reminders to attendees.
The page had to represent the Elyx brand. Raw, vintage copper yet premium and clean. Working with the Splashthat development team, we created a skin for the invite page which was used on all design moving forward with the program.
We designed and provided each guest with a cocktail book that included menus and a brief history of the martini, as well as namecards that encouraged guests to share their experience via social media.
Emails were sent through Splash's platform and were designed to be simple for each host to use. We created dynamic emails for RSVP confirmations, follow ups and event invites.
The final product was a success in terms of usability, social media integration, data capturing and campaign growth. Absolut extended the campaign to hit another round of cities, and is now going global.
