Chivas: The Venture
The Venture campaign was created to inspire, discover and reward those who believe that business can be a force for good. With $1Million on the line, a select group of 16 finalists pitched their ideas in front of a crowd full of like minded individuals, celebrities and entrepreneurs competing for the grand prize. The finale took place in San Francisco and was produced by the projects*. We devised plans, sketched up ideas and executed our vision bringing a year long campaign to reality.
First things first, the invite. We developed an invite system where the first 200 VIP guest would receive an exclusive invite featuring a custom designed lightbulb, a fancy foil-stamped invite and a pretty box to pack it all in. The additional 300 guests would receive a printed card invite, and we would also follow up with an email RSVP system through Splashthat.
As guests arrived they first passed through the media section featuring photo booths and step and repeat backdrops. They then entered a series of rooms; first being a large open room decorated with exhibits of existing businesses that help improve the world some way. Guests then entered into a circular room divided into two half moon sections each filled with half of the 16 total finalist exhibits. From here, they interacted, voted and donated to the campaign of their choosing.
This is where we showcased the 16 finalists and their ideas.There were contestants from South Africa, China, Dominican Republic, Dubai, Japan, Hong Kong, Bulgaria, Brazil, Uruguay, Chile, Colombia, Russia, Mexico, the UK and the US. Each project was like its own science project.
Designed a system for each guest to view the finalist video and choose which finalist to vote for and donate to. Upon arrival they were given an RFID card loaded with $200, which they simply placed against a plaque to vote. The system was linked to each finalist's IndieGogo campaign adding to each companies total of funds raised.
